Following the Kunst in Valkenburg exhibition, colourful works by Marij van Aken Anne-Miek Botty and Hay Herben will be on display and admired. 

Marij van Aken's underlying thought is phylosophical, spiritual or life motto is: Flowers give colour to nature. Give colour to your life, give yourself. Give colour to your life means: make something of it! 

Anne-Miek Botty makes quilts. After the usual forms of crafts, in 2000 Anne-Miek Botty was ready for another form in which she could express more creativity. This became Quilting. What particularly appealed to Anne-Miek Botty were the beautiful colours, the lovely fabrics and the different techniques. 

Hay Herben photographs and makes special prints. Hay Herben has been involved in photography for 50 years because he finds it a beautiful art form. In today's digital age, this form is increasingly fading into the background with the advance of Ai. When a photo is taken and you hold it in your hands as a print, it is an exciting step.
