Christmas LightArts Valkenburg

Christmas LightArts Valkenburg

The sparkling new light festival ‘Christmas LightArts’ brings Christmas Town Valkenburg to life after nightfall. Renowned light artists and designers from all over the world cast a new light on the historic town of Valkenburg. Valkenburg’s medieval history and its rich Christmas tradition were the main sources of inspiration for the impressive light artworks. Enchanting projections transform monumental facades into colourful canvases and, once more, knights and damsels pass the Berkelpoort gate…

Christmas LightArts is an artistic spectacle in the dark, spread across the town of Valkenburg. You can admire the light artworks at the Geulpoort gate, the city wall in Halderpark park, the historical building Spaans Leenhof, the church at the Walramplein square and the Berkelpoort gate, every evening from 5.30 pm to 10 pm, from 13 November until 3 January 2021.
