Eroica Valkenburg takes you back in time during the ninth edition of this unique cycling event. You hop on your vintage bike, put on your classic cycling outfit and let yourself be immersed in the nostalgic charm of cycling from the past.
Since 2016, cycling enthusiasts from all over the world have been coming together in the picturesque Valkenburg aan de Geul to experience this special event. On Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June, Valkenburg once again provides the backdrop for this extraordinary cycling experience. For this ninth edition, you’ll ride two completely new routes through the Zuid-Limburgse Heuvelland.
You cycle past hidden gems, iconic climbs, historic estates, stunning viewpoints and countless castles. In this way, Eroica Valkenburg pays tribute to a region that, together with Belgium, is regarded as the cradle of professional cycling. And Eroica Valkenburg is about more than just cycling.
The event lasts two days and offers fun for the whole family. The festival starts on Friday 5 June and continues until Saturday evening, 6 June. Around the start, finish and refreshment points, you’ll immerse yourself in a world of culture, music, food and drinks.
