Landal Christmas Parade

During Christmas Town Valkenburg, a magical parade (Landal Christmas Parade) regularly winds its way through the old streets of the town. The historic city centre forms a fantastic backdrop against the illuminated procession of abundantly decorated floats and groups of dancers in glamorous costumes.

From December 6th onwards, the dancers and floats can be admired every week on both Wednesdays and Saturdays, except on Wednesday, December 24th (Christmas Eve). The final parade will take place on Saturday, December 27th. Scroll down for an overview of the specific dates.

It is almost impossible to stand still, watching the parade pass by, accompanied by a specially composed Christmas soundtrack. The lights, dancers, floats and catchy music make the Landal Christmas Parade one of Christmas Town Valkenburg’s main attractions every year.

Route

The route will be different this year compared to previous years:

Route: Grotestraat Centrum, Berkelstraat, Hovetstraat, Walramplein, Gosewijnstraat, Th. Dorrenplein, Dr. Erensstraat

Attention! In the Berkelstraat and Grotestraat Centrum, the parade can only be viewed from the reserved terraces of the restaurants and cafés.
If you don’t have a reservation there, you will be kindly redirected to one of our public viewing areas, where there is always plenty of space to watch the parade.

The Walramplein remains accessible on foot throughout the entire parade.

Visitors info

There are special visitors sites on the following locations: Walramplein, Th. Dorrenplein, Gosewijnstraat and Dr. Erensstraat. Here is always plenty of space.

Transit times (subject to change):

Berkelstraat: 20 minutes after the start of the parade
Walramplein: 40 minutes after the start of the parade
Dr. Erensstraat: 50 minutes after the start of the parade

The Parade passes by in about 20-25 minutes.

When?

Between November 15th and December 27th, 2025
Saturdays (start 7:30 PM): November 15, 22, 29; December 6, 13, 20, 27
Wednesdays (start 7:00 PM): December 10, 17

Note: There will be no parade on Wednesday, December 24th.
